Job Description: Algoma District Paramedic Services has Paramedic Stations located in our West Division communities of Wawa, Dubreuilville, White River and Hornepayne, and in our East Division communities of Elliot Lake, Blind River, Thessalon and Richards Landing. We also deliver a growing Community Paramedicine Program.
Our Paramedics deliver pre-hospital emergency care in a small and rural community setting and enjoy a lifestyle outside of work that features access to nature and outdoor activities at their doorstep, and year-round community and cultural events. Our top wage rate is $43.08 per hour we offer higher starting compensation for Paramedics with 5+ years' full-time equivalent experience. Our on-call rate is $5.15 per hour, and callback premiums (minimum 4 hours pay at 1.5x regular rate) apply for the on-call portion of shifts. We offer generous vacation entitlement and 13 paid holidays per year, as well as 100% employer-paid premiums for group health benefits and insurance.
